“Amelia’s Closet” is a Finalist at the Student Academy Awards

The team of Amelia’s Closet  is pleased to announce that the project is a finalist at the Student Academy Awards! By making it to the finals, Amelia’s Closet placed in the top seven narrative films of all submitted. What a wonderful way to kick off the festival circuit for the film! There are sure to be many more festivals to come. “Darryl” Premieres at GI Film Festival

“Darryl” officially premiered at the GI Film Festival in Washington, D.C. GIFF is a week-long film festival dedicated to sharing the military experience in and out of the arena of war. Opposite All My Children‘s Michael E. Knight, Lizzie stars as Darryl’s estranged daughter. When she shows up on his doorstep and attempts to form a relationship, Laura starts to soften the effects of her father’s PTSD and addiction. While he cannot rectify the  mistakes from his past, through her love Darryl finds that he can begin to heal.
