Readings at the Playwrights Union

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Had a wonderful day at the Playwrights Union FIRST PEEK reading series in back-to-back readings!

First, I played a young, idealist protester and freelance aura soother in Deb Hiett’s timely ESCAPE THINGY. (www.DebHiett.com)

Immediately following I portrayed a concentration camp refugee, her daughter and granddaughter over 70 years in Jennifer Maisel’s new play, EIGHT NIGHTS.  It’s “about America, refugees, the hardships and courage that pass down through our families in our blood and bones and spirits.” (www.jennifermaisel.com )

Playwright’s Union is a wonderful group of dramatists in Los Angeles- some of the best in the city. It was a pleasure to be a part of their reading series, and I look forward to seeing much more! For more info, see playwrightsunion.com.

Lizzie has now completed two classes at BGB studio, and is enjoying her time there very much!

Most recently, she is fresh off an eight week on-camera class with Jami Rudofsky! The class focused primarily on audition experiences in front of the camera.

In the spring, Lizzie completed an eight week course with Risa Bramon Garcia. Risa’s class focused more on a personal artistic growth with help from Meisner, Improv and personal explorations.
